Our national early childhood education curriculum Te Whāriki encourages an understanding of kaitiakitanga or guardianship. Through our daily practices we ensure there are many opportunities for children to be a kaitiaki by caring for our resources and environment. We will learn about not being wasteful and recycling, reusing, only using what we need and ensuring we care for plants, wildlife, bugs and birds as well as each other.
We endeavour to provide an atmosphere that is warm, accepting and welcoming to both children and their families. With our maximum of 20 children at any one time, your child is at the heart of our work.
